The ACMA has issued new blocking orders for 7 offshore gambling sites, as part of its ongoing efforts to tackle illegal online betting in Australia.

The newly blocked sites are Jogi Casino, Dundee Slots, Lucky Hunter, Lucky Wins, Lukki Casino, Spin Fever and Clubhouse Casino. According to the ACMA, these sites were unlicensed and breached the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.

Since 2019, the ACMA has blocked 926 sites and forced over 220 illegal services to leave the Australian market. This is part of the regulator’s overall strategy to protect consumers from unlicensed and potentially dangerous gambling operators.

Australian users trying to access these sites will now be redirected to a government page explaining why access is blocked. The ACMA is still urging people to report any suspicious or illegal gambling activity through its channels.

This is Australia’s tough stance on offshore gambling as the government works to create fair, regulated and safe gambling environments for its citizens.
